So, I bought this SSD, right? Now, my question is: is my motherboard actually compatible with the SSD? I get only like a little bit over a half of it's actual rated speed and it is a big bummer 😞

The series does support Intel Optane™ (3D Xpoint) Solution PCIe Gen3x2 M.2 that means it has one M.2 slot for M.2 NVMe SSD. The specs of your machine is

Information from Crucial says it is compatible with Crucial P1 NMVe SSD's

 

   https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/hP---Compaq/pavilion-15-bc414nq

 

Getting same speed as Samsung 970EVO or not is unknown
