Hello!
I'm planning to upgrade the ram of my laptop but first want to make sure if either of the following are compatible:
1. Timetec 16GB KIT(2x8GB) DDR4 2400MHz PC4-19200 Non-ECC Unbuffered 1.2V CL17 1Rx8 Single Rank 260 Pin SODIMM Laptop Notebook PC Computer Memory RAM Module Upgrade (16GB KIT(2x8GB))
2. Crucial RAM 16GB Kit (2x8GB) DDR4 2400 MHz CL17 Laptop Memory CT2K8G4SFS824A
Also, Does timetec RAM have a good reputation?
Thank you in advance...

Hi:
The service manual indicates that 12 GB of memory is supported.
I doubt that 12 GB is correct, because if you can install an 8 GB memory chip on one slot, then you can install an 8 GB memory chip in the second slot.
You want to install 2 x 16 GB of memory, so before you do that, I recommend you run this command to determine if it is possible:
1. In the search box, search for cmd and click Run as administrator.
This will open the command prompt.
2. After the command prompt is opened, type wmic memphysical get maxcapacityEx and press the enter key
There, it will show the maximum RAM capacity your PC's motherboard can support.
The capacity is shown as Kilobytes, so you have to convert it to Gigabytes by dividing the number provided in the report by 1,048,576.
Timetec is decent memory.
There is one expert on this forum that recommends Timetec memory time (no pun intended).
You may find a few more reviews on this memory on the Amazon.USA website.

I ran the command and it showed (33554432 = 32GB) as the maximum capacity supported by the motherboard, so I think I'm good here
I'm getting Timetec then (this one Timetec 16GB KIT(2x8GB) DDR4 2400MHz PC4-19200 Non-ECC Unbuffered 1.2V CL17 1Rx8 Single Rank 260 Pin...), it's cheaper and available in UAE store (Where I'm located).
Thank for your awesome assistance, you have always been here to help me with all kinds of inquiries, YOU ROCK!
