Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Team,

I would like to add a 256GB NVME drive for my laptop (15-db0069wm). I would like to know, if i have to buy a specific brand NVMe or any brand will work for my laptop? Also i am finding HP brand 256GB NVme such as HP EX900 and other branded vendors such as Samsung, Toshiba, Lenovo NVMe in ebay.

Could you suggest me a compatible Nvme brand for my laptop 15-db0069wm, which positively work for my laptop.

Hi! @bsenthilk,

Yes, the laptop is compatible with NVME M.2 SSD's. However, the product has been tested and trialled only with the following parts below. If you are replacing a part with a non - HP part we cannot guarantee the functionality.

There is One M.2 slot for solid-state drives.

I have checked the specifications of your laptop and found few supported M.2 SSD and part numbers for your PC.

256 GB, PCIe, NVMe L20384-001

256 GB, SATA-3, TLC L20382-001

128 GB, SATA-3, TLC L20381-001

Refer the laptop user guide to know more information. Click Here

Note: Refer to page 27 for more information.

You can purchase the parts from HP parts store using this link. Click Here

Hope to this answers your query!

Have a great day! 🙂
