HP Wireless Mouse X3300
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, I recently bought HP Wireless Mouse X3300 (picture below):

Question: Is there a compatible HP Wireless Keyboard that I could match to this mouse using only one USB Wireless Micro-receiver? I was informed that 5 arrows on the microreceiver means that this product could be compatible with other ones (correct me if I'm mistaken).

Thank you,

Regards,

As far as I am aware, only Logitech makes a unifying dongle that can work with various logitech 2.4 GHz mice and keyboards.

HP does not make one.

Someone may have inadvertently told you otherwise.

Unless you are buying a Logitech wireless keyboard, which will come with a unifying dongle, always buy wireless keyboard and mouse as a set.

Hi,

The technology is called Link 5 and allows for up to 5 devices on single usb dongle. It is not easy to find a list of compatible products. They will be made by HP

You can search on HP site for compatible keyboards or online

Example:

https://www.amazon.com/s?k=link+5+keyboard&ref=nb_sb_noss_2

Hope it helps,

David

@Erico ,

Yeah I wasn't aware of that. I will check if there is a way to find a compatible HP wireless keyboard. If not, I will buy a set, that's for sure.

Thanks anyway,

M.

Hi @Iomare , thanks for your help.

Yeah I can buy one of those wireless keyboards from Amazon, but I guess nobody could guarantee me that it will work with other micro receiver or vice versa (that keyboard's MR would work with existing HP mice);

I guess I could try or just buy a new set..

Thanks anyway,

As long as it is a Link 5 compatible keyboard, it will work with the same wireless dongle as the mouse. So you were given good advice by @iomare .

Here is a link to a search I did in Google that has sources for compatible Link 5 keyboards in Europe.
