I would like to buy a more portable charger for my laptop. In most situations I don't need 230W. I have already tried various options, but they are not accepted by the laptop. Is it possible to say which chargers are compatible or what the criteria for compatibility are?

Well, machine won't accept lower wattage charger. Please try the following suggestion at your own risk

So if i understand you correctly, the laptop will no charge on anything else the a 280W Charger?

The article points in a different direcotion...
