Dear HP Customer Support,
I am writing to formally report an issue with my HP laptop, which is displaying a 90B error message during startup. This error indicates a problem with the cooling system, suggesting that the fan is not functioning properly or there is inadequate airflow.
Issue Description:
- Upon turning on the laptop, I receive the System Fan (90B) error message, after which the system either shuts down automatically or runs with reduced performance.
- The fan appears to be running louder than usual, or in some cases, it does not spin at all.
- I have tried basic troubleshooting, including cleaning the vents, updating the BIOS, and performing a hard reset, but the issue persists.
I request your assistance in resolving this issue. Please advise on the next steps, including whether my laptop is eligible for warranty service or repair options. If needed, I am willing to bring the laptop to an authorized service center.
Looking forward to your prompt response.
Best regards,
Ganesh Balaji S.
