Product: Pavillion G6
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My pavillion G6 Model no G6-2004 ss will charge battery overnight turned off with power lead plugged in. The computer will run on mains or battery but will not work on mains power with battery installed. With battery installed and on mains power when try to turn on the on button just flashes.

I reviewed your post and I understand that the computer is not turning on when you install the battery.

 

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

 

I recommend you update the BIOS from the below link and check whether the issue is resolved.
