hp Spectre x360 Convertible 13-ap0xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I bought my hp Spectre x360 Convertible 13-ap0xxx 2 month ago.

Recently, (a week now) i noticed that the bottom of the screen and the speakers place is getting a little hotter than i think it should. Moreover, when i switch to tablet mode the place i mentioned gets even more hotter.

Is it reasonable for a convertible laptop to do this?

Thank you for your support.Inkedhp_LI.jpg

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I recommend you update the BIOS and the chipset driver from the below link and check if it helps.

Update:

Firstly, I want to thank you for your help.

Second, I search in this forum for similar problems, and i found many posts about it. The answer which keep getting back is the hard reset option. I tried it and the computer went up and said while it starts that, it is updating the system. Finally the computer went up, and seems good.

How can i check if the bios is up to date?

@Hajajon

Thank you for posting back.

To check Your BIOS Version by Using the System Information Panel. You can also find your BIOS's version number in the System Information window.  Hit Windows+R, type “msinfo32” into the Run box, and then hit Enter. The BIOS version number is displayed on the System Summary pane.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
