Computer lid issues

I remember i wasn't using my laptop for about 3 months when i started using it and started updating after not updating for so long everything seemed a little messed up the touch screen completely stopped working the touch pad and mouse as well. But i got the keyboard and mouse working by disabling Intel integrated touch solution. But the main issue is that whenever i use my laptop if i move the lid it acts as if i push the power button and it goes into sleep mode if i have it in a certain position it cuts off completely only way i can keep my laptop on is by keeping the lid wide open i cant move it in the slightest.

• Have you tried connecting the computer to an external monitor?
• Does it happen when the computer is moved or shaken?
• Have you checked the display in BIOS?

While you respond to that, let's try these steps: 

Hard Reset: Follow steps from the link: https://hp.care/2GnkMa8.

BIOS default: 

1. Turn off the computer and wait five seconds.
2. Press the Power button to start the computer and repeatedly press the F10 key to enter the BIOS setup menu.
3. On the BIOS Setup screen, press F9 to select and load the BIOS Setup Default settings.
4. Press F10 to Save and Exit.
5. Use the arrow keys to select Yes, then press Enter when asked Exit Saving Changes?
6. Follow the prompts to restart your computer.

Yes its like whenever i move the computer lid the computer thinks i am pushing the power button i have it set up where the power button turns display because it kept sleeping and if its held in a position it cuts off completely like holding the power button
