I sent my laptop to be repaired on January 23rd and it’s been delayed to March 4th. I thought I’d try to get a loaner because I need a computer to do anything with my life however this has proved to be just as much as a headache. They require a 1$ collateral fee which is not a problem at all but the problem is the website doesn’t let you send the payment. You will enter all of the information correctly and submit the payment but you will get no error code or confirmation screen. Instead it will just reload the page as if nothing happened and HP will say they didn’t receive the payment but my bank app will show the money was taken. I called them to get past the collateral so I can have a laptop and I was pleasantly surprised when they said they would skip it and send it anyways. However they never actually sent it and that was all a lie. This has been a headache the entire process and I’m getting extremely sick of it. I need a loaner or my laptop back so I can actually do my work.

Welcome to HP Support Community,
I understand how frustrating this situation must be, especially when you need a working computer to stay productive. Since there have been multiple delays and issues with both your laptop repair and the loaner process, the best way forward is to look into your case directly. Please send over your case ID via private message, and we’ll check on the status of your repair and loaner request to see what’s causing the delay and how we can get this resolved for you as soon as possible.
I hope these steps help resolve the issue
Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.
Take care and have a good day.
