Specter x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

A couple days ago my computer ran out of power, and when I tried to plug it in, it now won’t charge. There is no sign of life - I’ve tried holding down the power button for various lengths with the computer both open and closed. I know the outlet is working, but I don’t have a friend with the same computer, so I haven’t been able to figure out if it’s a problem with the computer or the charging cable.

Any help would be appreciated.

it is probably either your battery or power jack

HP Recommended

most likely your battery if you can turn it on while on charge

It won’t turn on even when charging. Does that mean it’s most likely the power plug not working?

To get a new plug would I have to go through hp support and have them send me one, or could I pick one up somewhere? I’m under warranty.

Check your power plug before you buy something.
