Hi, @FERDINANDO75 

 

Chapter 1 of the service manual indicates that the best dual core processor you can install would be the i5-580M.

 

But I don't see any reason why the i7-640M processor wouldn't work.

 

I'm not sure the quad core processors would work because those are 45W processors and even though your notebook has the AMD graphics adapter, if you look at chapter 3 of the service manual different motherboards are used for the models that come with quad core processors.
