Product: Envy dv7
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Pulled out old laptop that hasn't been used in 4 years. Originally Windows 8 now Windows 10 home.  Delayed computing time and non-functioning drop downs due to pointer with circle constantly flickering. Hasn't ever stopped since attempting to use this laptop and Ive waited hours.  Thinking it needs updating as it currently has 12 updates that need to download since last used.  System says downloading half simultaneously but no progress has been made. Flickers on home screen and in any program to include Microsoft apps and internet browsers. Need flickering to stop. Please Help.

Seems like its a hardware issue with the screen or worse: can we have the exact model number? I would also run a diagnostic on the hard drive.
