@oboni

I reviewed your post and I understand that the control key is not working for pasting.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

  • Does this happen in any particular application or everywhere?’
  • Have you tested with an external keyboard?

Meanwhile, I recommend you uninstall the keyboard driver and then restart the computer and check if it helps.

Here is how it is done.

  1. Type "Device Manager" into the search field to open the device manager console.
  2. Expand the node that represents the type of device that you want to uninstall, right-click the device entry, and click Uninstall.
  3. On the Confirm Device Removal dialog box, click OK to start the uninstall process.
  4. When the uninstall process is complete, remove the device.

NOTE: On the Confirm Device Removal dialog box, click the Delete the driver software for this device option to delete the driver package that was used for the device.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

Sorry my bad the left Ctrl key is not working for copying.

ctrl+c works well with the external keyboard.

I have repeated the Device Manager uninstalling procedure several times but it didn't work.

the left ctrl key is working in case of other operations such as Ctrl+v(pasting), Ctrl+x .

Having problem in terms of copying any text using keyboard shortcut Ctrl+C.

Is there any solution to restore the function?

@oboni

Is this only happening in Microsoft Word or does this also occur in other programs like 'Notepad"?

Cheers!

It was happening everywhere like notepad, word and also while copying links .

But now the function is restored automatically. I think something(software/hardware)  was restricting its functioning.

Thanks for your support Sir 😊.

Hope to receive such responses in case of solving future issues as well.
