@Rafiul_Islam, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding the cooler issue!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing issues with your laptop's cooling fan running continuously and becoming louder when unplugged. To address this, please follow these troubleshooting steps:

Update BIOS and Drivers: Ensure your laptop's BIOS and system drivers are up to date. Manufacturers often release updates that can resolve hardware-related issues.

Adjust Power Settings: Modify your power plan settings to balance performance and cooling:

  • Open Control Panel > Power Options.
  • Select your current plan and click on Change plan settings.
  • Click on Change advanced power settings.
  • Expand Processor power management > System cooling policy.
  • Set both On battery and Plugged in to Passive.
  • Click Apply and OK.

Clean Air Vents: Dust accumulation can impede airflow, causing the fan to work harder:

  • Turn off your laptop and unplug it.
  • Use compressed air to gently clean the vents and remove dust.

Check for Background Processes: High CPU usage can cause increased heat:

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.
  • Identify processes consuming high CPU resources and end tasks that are unnecessary.

Scan for Malware: Malware can cause excessive CPU usage:

  • Run a full system scan using your antivirus software to detect and remove any threats.
