HP Envy 14-3000ea
Microsoft Windows 11

I acquired a HP Envy 13-3000ea Laptop without the charger and I am having difficultly find the correct HP charger for it. A search on Google & eBay reveals several different options with different size tips. Can anyone who has one of these laptop's provide details including the HP part number or otherwise please? TIA for any advice

I believe the part number is 741727-001

https://partsurfer.hp.com/partsurfer?searchtext=741727-001

Try putting your laptop serial number at the above site and see if there is a parts list

The spec for your laptop is here

https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03992326

it shows quote:

Power
45W AC power adapter
4-cell Li-Ion polymer

You can look at the hp parts store or probably get it cheaper elsewhere

Hi, Unfortunately the charger part number isn't 741727-001 and the charger is not listed at  HP partsurfer or HP store, this maybe  because it's an older laptop? I really appreciate your quick response and advice

What does your existing charger show?

Part Number?

Volt/Amp rating?

45 watts?

Blue tip?

I don't have an existing charger, I bought the laptop from an auction without the charger,  I have attached images of the the laptop info in the bios and the DC power jack connector. It needs a charger without a centre pin so defo not a blue tip charger.HP Envy 14 Spectre_1.JPGHP Envy 14 Spectre_2.JPG

I think that is the "65 watt black" that is described on this page

https://www.ebay.com/itm/166070696347?chn=ps&var=465576206331

Try to measure the outer diameter, it should be slightly larger than 7.4mm

I believe this is what you need

I think it is the blue tip that is 4.5mm with the 3mm inside hole, not the 7.4

measure the diameter of the holes and compare to what is shown at that web site

Unfortunately it's not that either, the DC jack hole diameter is approx. 4-4.5mm and it has a centre pin, so the charger won't have a centre pin. I've tried a 4.8mm x 1.7mm charger but it it doesn't fit. I also looked on eBay and can't find a suitable one

I believe your connector may be broken.  I looked that this model 14-3000 and it shows a black inside barrel

Look and see if this is your laptop

https://www.ebay.com/itm/276179907757

If it is, the pin in the blue tip goes inside the the black "barrel"
