The notebook is experiencing standard issue - video randomly not coming up on notebook switching on.
Could HP please tell me what is the motherboard part number for it? It's Intel CORE I7 with Nvidia version.
I am the original owner since 05/13/2013 and have all s/n model and order numbers. Thanks.

Given the date of your post, I would have expected someone to respond to it before this -- but since that has not happened, I will take a shot at it ...
You can use this link to find part numbers for the components in your PC: HP PartSurfer
But you need to be aware that HP does not sell motherboards, nor do the suppliers that build them for HP. So, you would have to search online for it yourself and any you find will be USED, and liable NOT to work.

@toshik1 Welcome to HP Community!
I understand that you would like to know the difference between the part number.
711508 501 MOTHERBOARD DSC HM77 635M/2G 45W W8STD It is the standard model motherboard.
711508 601 MOTHERBOARD DSC HM77 635M/2G 45W W8PRO It is the pro model motherboard
There is no much difference. You can purchase either one.
If did not get the parts in our parts store, you can contact the local service center and check.
Or you can contact our phone support and check for the support option. They will help you.
Here is how you can get in touch with phone support.
1)Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/
2)Select the product type.
3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.
4)Select the country from the drop-down.
5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.
Keep us posted,

Thanks! How would I program my s/n and model number into new motherboard's flash memory?
I used HPBQ138.EXE and HPBQ153 EEPROM Utilities in the past and they worked fine on DV7 but does not seem to work on my ENVY dv7... Says "this utility can NOT be executed on this platform"
Yes I made bootable USB flash and ran it from it 🙂
------------------------------------------------
I've found a late SP100599 but BiosConfigUtility64.exe file under Windows it pops up a window for a fraction of a second and then it closes. Doing the command prompt via CMD does not change anything.
HPQPswd64.exe opens fine but I don't need it. I have original WIndows 8.1 x64...

@toshik1 Due to the current global COVID-19 situation, we're seeing an influx of customers coming in for support and we appreciate your patience.
That said, I'm afraid we do not support or recommend changing motherboards on HP devices.
If you wish to go through with this either way, you may do so at your own discretion and to be on a safer side, you may want to check with a local tech in my personal opinion.
I hope that helps, have a good day, ahead.

Something tells me global COVID-19 situation is over, where are we standing on how to copy model and s/n into replacement motherboard, please?
That said, I'm afraid HP should have made better laptops (or use more reliable vendors) without faulty display hinges/graphics chips.

@toshik1 Perhaps, you can tell me what's the issue about, so we can work on resolving it, also, do you have issues with the display hinges?
Keep me posted.
