You can check maximum memory from the command line this way

 

Press Windows Key + R, type cmd, and press Enter. In the command prompt, type wmic memphysical get maxcapacity, and press Enter. The result will be displayed in Kilobytes.

 

I believe you will find the max is 32 gigs.
