Hi, having to change my laptop's motherboard due to electrical faults, I could take advantage with an upgrade changing cpu also. I've seen that intel qm67 chipset supports i7-3615qe cpu's that is faster than my actual i7-2760qm, but is not in the official Hp's supported processors list. I'd like to know, before to buy this cpu if anyone has never tried or has surely informations that bios could support this cpu as neither my 2760qm was officially included in that list but it works.
Thanks
Luca

I'm seeing that some cpu's officially supported needs socket type BGA1224 (like my 2760qm), other BGA1023 like 3615qe. i7-3615qm's is supported by BFCBGA1224, so it could be right for that board?
