Product: Hp 17-bs061st
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Can someone please point me to a list of compatible cpu"s for the hp 17-bs061st notebook? I'd like to upgrade it to an i7, but I can't find any information on compatible cpu's no matter how hard I look.  So if someone much more knowledgeable than me could help out, I'd really appreciate it. Thank you!

Hi:

 

The processor your notebook has is an integral part of the motherboard, and cannot be upgraded unless you replace the motherboard with one listed in chapter 3 of your notebook's service manual that may come with a better processor.

The costs associated with performing such an upgrade would come close to what you originally paid for the notebook, making such an upgrade a poor return on investment.
