Hi,
The whole display assembly comes as one part. Real expensive. In your case:
15.6-in., FHD, AntiGlare,TouchScreen display assembly with privacy in natural silver finish part number L53547-001
It is not available in HP parts store, so you can try an online search with part number or try your nearest HP service center. I saw one here in the UK from official HP parts reseller
https://uk.eetgroup.com/i/W125700431-HP-LCD-15.6-FHD-AG-PRVCY
It might be easier to find the ones without the privacy filter:
15.6-in., FHD, AntiGlare, 220 nits, TouchScreen display assembly in natural silver finish part number L53545-001
15.6-in., FHD, AntiGlare, 300 nits, TouchScreen display assembly in natural silver finish part number L53546-001
https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&q=L53545-001
On page 51 of service manual you can see the steps to replace the screen.
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06297488
Now it is possible that some third parties will sell a compatible part (usually without the back cover, which you would need to remove from old part.
Hope it helps,
David

Thanks for the detailed reply - I dont think I have actually used the privacy screen more than 3 times in all the time ive had the laptop, so it really isnt a deal breaker. I'll look into other options, but I might get a few months more off this screen to and then just upgrade machine...
Thanks once again
