Hi can someone please help my laptop mouse was faulty when purchased from currys its been back for repair 3 times and once again when it cameback the mouse was still faulty  , I sent it back for the forth time the screen was fine leaving home as I opened the laptop at currys the screen cracked, it got sent off under warranty but they said invalid insurance as screen cracked, I had an independent inspection and paid for a report which stated the hinge had caused the screen to crack its common and I sent it in to currys and appealed the decision,  they replied with they had contacted hp and they had no other reports of the hinge causing the screen to crack, I rang currys and the man said they had had loads of these hp cromebooks back with the same issue I should get a replacement then the phone died, I rang back but couldn't get intouch with the same man and got passed from one person to another, that day I got a email stating there was nothing they could do and that I need to contact consumer services I am awaiting a reply from them, HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD THE SAME PLEASE

Hi @Shazed,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Do not worry, I'd be happy to help you!

I understand that you are facing issues with the cracked screen.

I understand that this is Hardware issue. But the support here is limited to software troubleshooting. However, since the unit might need repair, I would request you to contact HP Phone support who would have an option to schedule a repair as per the warranty and the issue can be fixed.

For that to happen, we will give you additional instructions/information via Private Message.

Please check your inbox on the forums page for the private message.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution button, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!
