HP Spectre 15-df1210ng
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello!

I have a problem with my Spectre 15 - df1210ng

When my laptop is plugged in, I can hear quiet (but annoying) crackling sound around charging socket.

Crackling sound is associated with display, because it's present only when something on screen is moving (scrolling screen with mouse, new webpage apearring, or watching youtube). There is no crackling when screen is still.

When I unplug the charger - it's completely quiet all the time

It is something wrong with it? Laptop is still under HP warranty

Best regards

Hi @reynevan1,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Apologies for all the inconvenience!

Please We request you to stop using a laptop

As this is a hardware issue, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer or HPchat Support Team.

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Have a great day!
