ProDesk, ProBook, and EliteBook
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

At our company, we routinely upgrade our HP equipment when it comes through our lab. This currently includes various models of ProDesk, ProBook, and EliteBook equipment. What is the best way to create a USB key that is capable of upgrading the BIOS on all of the models?

Currently the program I download for the BIOS updates the USB key and adds firmware.bin to \HP\DEVFW\ and overwrites the old file that was there from a different model.

In the past I thought we had added files such as Q83_010700.bin and Q83_010700.inf to a particular path on the key, however the BIOS updates seemed to be inconsistent about the path it would look in.

Hello,

You need:

-Pendrive

-Double Driver Portable (I had downloaded from portableapps.com)

Ok,

-Make one ready  laptop model with drivers, updated BIOS etc

Run Double Driver Portable -> Click Backup->scan current system->drivers installed by you will be marked automatically->backup now->check "Single file self extract (this option make executable file with backup of driver)-> ready, you can use this. This file restore your drivers and automatically update your bios. This is safe, I use this for 2 years to restoring drivers and updating bios.
