HP Bang Olfsen laptop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I was upgrading my laptop, and when I plug in the MVMe M.2 drive in my laptop, it will not boot up.  The other problem is that the board pushes into the slot, but it is upside down.  The model number is M1W11UAR#ABA.  Is this model compatiable with this drive?  Do I need to do anything else to install the drive.

Hi:

Chapter 1 of your notebook's service manual indicates that only M.2 SATA SSD's are supported.

That is why the Crucial NVMe SSD you installed is not working and can't be made to work.

You need to return the Crucial drive and buy a SATA M.2 SSD.

I do not believe that Crucial makes SATA SSD's anymore, so you will have to buy one elsewhere.

A suggested SATA SSD would be a Western Digital Blue SA510.
