Product: HP Laptop 14-dq0xxx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

So, my mom just got me the HP Laptop 14-dq0xxx. It has 4gb of RAM. Is there a way I can add more ram to it? Will I have to take it somewhere and have them add a new RAM card? My mom got it for me so I could do more gaming but one of the games I wanna play won't run without more RAM and maybe not with the processor...? Idk how to figure any of this out. 

 

Also, is it better for me to get an SD card with high storage or a hard drive? I'd prefer to be cheap and get an SD card but I need to know if it'll get me anywhere. With that being said, if I do get an SD card, which SD card do I get?

We need to know what is your HP Laptop 14-dq0xxx first, for example

 

                 HP Laptop 14-dq0052dx

 

Hope your machine does NOT have similar specs. If similar specs, ask your mum to buy new machine, you won't go to anywhere with the low specs machine like the one above.
