HP Pavilion - 15-cc129tx
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi I use a HP Pavilion - 15-cc129tx series laptop. I have updated my laptop recently to windows 11 and since then the problem started. While typing my cursor jumps to initial position. I have reduced the speed of the touchpad\mouse pointer and also adjusted the palm check sensitivity but nothing worked. Please help me fix this issue.

Hi@Rajeswari98,

Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!

I see you are experiencing issues with the HP Pavilion Notebook cursor jumps while typing.

I have a few recommendations

  • Update your Notebook computer to latest BIOS from HP.COM.
  • Make sure the Windows and HP support assistant updates are up to date.
  • Try with alternate USB/Wireless mouse and check if it works fine.
  • You can do Reset PC Keep my files from windows and check if works.

If the issue still persist then it could be a hardware issue on the PC.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
