Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I Have an HP Laptop cm0123AU which is running quite slow so I wanted to install an SSD in it. It has a 1 TB 5400 rpm SATA Hard drive. But I am not sure if it contains an SSD slot or not. I am not able to find any information on web. I want some info about the same.

Hi:

According to chapter 1, page 3 of the service manual, your notebook should have a M.2 slot that supports SATA M.2 SSD's only.

Maintenance and Service Guide HP 14 Laptop PC

Internal card expansion One M.2 slot for solid-state drive

Only the 14-cm0xxx notebooks that come with a Ryzen processor would support a NVMe SSD.

However, I recommend you open the notebook first and confirm the slot is there before buying a SATA M.2 SSD.

If your notebook does have a M.2 slot, I recommend one of the Western Digital Blue SA510 M.2 SATA SSD's.

The problem is...they only have the 1 TB drive in stock right now.

Amazon.in: Buy Western Digital WD Blue ¢ SA510 M.2 SSD Internal Storage, 1TB, for Performance Upgrad...
