Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have Windows 10 64 bit installed, but in order to run some old softwares I wanted to also install Windows XP as dual boot.

It runs into blue screens of death everytime it tries to access the HDD and as I found out later, it's because my driver is set to SATA AHCI (with no options in the BIOS to set it to IDE or disable AHCI).

I then discovered about slipstreaming drivers onto a Windows iso, but (after multiple attempts and failed burned CDs) I can't seem to find the correct driver.

In device manager, under Controller IDE ATA/ATAPI, it only specifies the controller: Controller AHCI SATA Standard, of which its driver is manifactured by Microsoft.

The driver is PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9C03&SUBSYS_22DA103C&REV_04

What driver i need to install to run Windows XP

Unfortunately, there are no XP SATA  AHCI drivers for PCs with the Intel 4th gen core processors.

Intel only released XP SATA AHCI drivers for PCs with Intel 3rd gen core and older processors.

Installing XP in AHCI mode cannot be done with your notebook and if you change the drive controller to IDE, then your W10 installation will not boot up.

Not to mention, if you were to install XP in IDE mode there would be no drivers for

Chipset, graphics, audio, or USB3, and those are just off the top of my head.

There may be other devices that have no chance of working on XP.
