Hi:

You should be able to.

The release notes for the BIOS update does not separate compatibility by processor type.

You just need to have a 250 G3 with an Intel processor.

Note that this BIOS update is just a routine update and will probably have no effect on your notebook running any better.

But are motherboard different? I think the are. this not influence the driver update?
my will is to replace ram and hdd with new components.... i thinked that an old bios driver version can't read or perform correctly the new components....am i in error?

thank you for the reply

The motherboard uses the same BIOS.

The only thing different is the processors and graphics that come with the individual motherboards.

I doubt you have to update the BIOS to install memory or replace the 2/5" mechanical hard drive with a 2.5" SSD.

Note that your notebook only has one memory slot when it has a Celeron processor and the max, memory the slot can support is 1 x 8 GB of DDR3L-1600 memory.

This would be a compatible 8 GB memory chip for your notebook:

Crucial 8GB DDR3L-1600 SODIMM | CT102464BF160B | Crucial.com

Crucial 8GB DDR3L-1600 SODIMM | CT102464BF160B | Crucial IT

So.... I will not have any improvement by update the bios driver version?

Nope.

I'm thinking if you have BIOS version F.39 or newer installed, you will not benefit greatly by updating the BIOS.

F.39 provided support for Windows 10.
