Last night my laptop hanging like **bleep** then I try to restart my laptop After that screen will frezzed with a black screen and again and again I try to start my laptop but it will frezzed continually. After that I performed some test on the digonostic menu and I found that short DST FAILD also long DST FAILED. then I reinstall my OS starts normally but on the digonostic menu it still shows that short DST & long DST failure. What to do ..pls help me

Hi:

 

The hard drive needs to be replaced and the operating system reinstalled.

 

If you can still get into windows, back up any files you want to save onto a portable hard drive.

 

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.  The hard drive R & R procedure can be found in chapter 6.

You may want to consider purchasing a better performing, normally more reliable 2.5" solid state drive (SSD).

 

After you replace the hard drive, you can reinstall W10 by using the HP cloud recovery client utility.
