Hello,
Please help to choose compartible HDD model for my ENVY DV7-7252sr C9C51EA that will be supported with one of the HP Recovery DVD KIT I have:
1) HP Recovery DVD KIT made from Recovery manager app at ENVY DV7-7252sr
2) HP Recovery DVD KIT 709690-251
HDD model : WD7500BPVT-60HXZT3
One of candidate available at market: WD10JPVX

Any 2.5 inch wide and 7 or 9.5 mm thick laptop hard drive will work. To assure that your recovery kits will work get a drive at least as large in capacity; i.e. 750 gig or larger.
The WD 1 TB you ask about will work. You might consider upgrading to a 7200 rpm drive or even a solid state drive to improve performance.
