Product: HP Compaq 6910p Notebook PC
It can read full-size DVD's and CD's, but it refuses to read miniDVD's.
When I'm trying to use a full size CD/DVD it spins slowly, goes really fast and the disc pops up in Windows.
But when I try to read a miniDVD, It only spins slowly and then stops.
EDIT: It can read them! It just cant read unformatted ones.

That is unfortunate.
I hope you are aware that you are asking about obsolete technology.
Your best bet would be to find an external drive re-writer that has the capability of reading mini DVD.
