I have the serial number of the laptop. How do I find out what the date of manufacture was?
Serial#: XXX8164XX.
I have put Xs except for the 4th 5th 6th and 7th numbers.

Here is everything to know about the serial number...
The first two characters are the country code.
The third character is the code of the supply site.
The next three characters are the date of manufacture, the first digit is for the year the next two for the calendar week.
The last four characters are a sequential ID on that particular week.
Example : CNU1234ABC
CN=China
U=The supply site.
1= The year 2011.
23 = 23 week of 2011.
4ABC = The sequential ID.

So the 1st number (the 😎 represents the year 2018? And the 2nd & 3rd numbers (1 and 6) represents the week - Week 16/end of April?
What does the 4th number (the 4) represent?
