Hello all,
My laptop's battery has been dead for the past few months now and I'm unable to purchase an original replacement battery from HP. For reference, I also ran the diagnostics test with a failure result with id: 9UVW3Q-8809NV-MFPX7F-C08913
Does anyone know where I can source original/genuine replacement battery for my laptop?
I checked at a computer repair store in Coventry a few months back, but their suppliers did not have the correct replacement battery for my laptop.
If anyone knows a good repair shop with the required battery that I need (preferably in West Yorkshire), please let me know.
Or if anyone knows an original/genuine online shop that supplies my required battery, please let me know.
Many thanks in advance.

This is the original battery:
3 cell prismatic battery - 61.5 Whr (5360 mAh), for use with products with Intel 6th generation processors or Intel 7th generation processors with AMD Radeon hybrid graphics 849910-850
As you have found, HP is unlikely to carry this battery any longer. Repair shops also are not going to stock enough inventory to have this battery on hand. It is going to have to be ordered from a parts house or reseller and amazon and eBay are your best sources.
amazon tends not to have trademarked original HP batteries and eBay will have both "genuine" HP logoed and third party batteries. You are not necessarily getting a better product by insisting on an HP logoed as it is hard to know how long it has been on the shelf. A reputable amazon prime seller's product is likely to be made on the same assembly line as genuine batteries. But I have offered you both options above.

The Service Manual which is what HP technicians use:
Pages 30-36 show how. Pay attention to precautions spelled out in the Manual.
