Is there really no solution to enable deep sleep for HP laptops running ubuntu yet? I have been browsing for hours, and time and time again I see people coming to the same conclusion; there is simply no way to enable your HP computer to enter deep sleep if you are running Ubuntu. (On windows it is fine). Some of the threads I have found are several years old, and of there really is no solution yet, it is quite disappointing. Spending 2000 EUR on a laptop, one of my expectations were something I would actually use on-the-go. Without deep sleep this is simply not feasible. Are you planning on enabling other-than-windows-users to use laptops how they're meant to be used; any time soon HP? Or could you perhaps recommend us to buy another brand?
