Victus by HP 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop 15-fb2000 (90Q63AV)

I have a Dell wd19s docking station, and an HP Victus 15-fb2000 that seems to be only connecting with the peripherals.  Monitors exist, but there is no actual visual.  I say this because with my previous dock, windows that opened on the two external monitors and not the laptop still open as if they were on that monitor, despite Display settings not showing any additional monitors.  I have run all updates and installed all updated drivers.  Dell just says "HP products are compatible" but doesn't indicate specific models.  As a side note, I do not need it to charge my laptop, but that would be an added benefit.

The specs of your machine is

It has  (1) USB 3.2 Gen 1.0 Type-C® port; 5 Gbps signaling rate (USB Power Delivery, DisplayPort™ 1.4, HP Sleep and Charge) port and the Dell dock has USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C with DisplayPort 1.4 or HDMI2.0 x1 port.

In theory they are compatible but who knows. I would not spend my money to buy a Dell product to work with HP product and vice versa.

Regards.

I didn't spend money on it. So no worries there. It was provided to me by work to use with the Dell laptop they also provided me. I use my own dual monitors connected to it because they only provide a single 21". One is connected via Display port, the other HDMI.

The old d6000 from 2013 worked just fine which is weird. It had actually worked with every laptop I've had since then by both USB-A and USB-C. They stopped the USB-A pass through about 5 or 6 years ago on new docks so you can no longer use an adapter of any kind.
