HP Notebook - 14-an012nr
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hi,

I would like to ask what is the difference of Difference of HP Notebook - 14-an012nr and HP Notebook - 14-an013nr? Also, I got the 14-an012nr, I read somewhere that you can add a 2.5" ssd inside, can you add a hard drive instead of a ssd?

Thank you,

Aj

Hello @AjIV,

Welcome to FORUM !!!

Technically there is no difference. Both have same hardware and software components.

Probably 12nr and 13nr are just categorised by the release date, Thats it.

Please check the specs of both units :

HP Notebook - 14-an012nr (ENERGY STAR) Product Specifications

HP Notebook - 14-an013nr (ENERGY STAR) Product Specifications

Regarding Hard drive, Yes you may have 2.5 SATA hard drive. However you might require the 9mm Harddrive adapter.

Hard drive connector 815139-001

Hard drive bracket 859126-001

Please read the following specs

   https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05201404

   https://support.hp.com/rs-en/document/c05214762

The first thing you can see: screens, 1 has FHD screen and other does not have.

It does not have room for you to add HDD, you can add more storage using SD card, it has multi-format SD media card reader

Regards.
