Omen 17t-an000
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I just bought a factory refurbished omen 17 4k display (gtx 1060 / i7-7700) dirt cheap. and i was wondering if i could change the display to a 120hz from omen 17. Is it compatible, would i just unplug 4k-> plug 120hz and voilà?

Thank you !

Thank you for responding,

It's great to have you back 😉

Buying just the raw panel should work. I would suggest you contact the local store before buying the parts.

Or you could contact our phone support:

1) Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

2) Click on "Continue as guest".

3) Enter the serial of your device.

4) Select the country from the drop-down.

5) Click on "Show Options".

Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.

Thanks for the prompt answer.
So what I would need to do is buy the display cable compatible to the Raw display and my current webcam + buy the 120fps screen ( 931566-001 +922934-001) open my laptop and put those in (i'll make a professional do that) and it would work? I know nothing about how electronics work but that is my understanding of your reply. No software , no drivers? Just plug and play?
