Good afternoon, I'm having issues disassembling this laptop I took all of the screws, even under the rubber corners .
The dvd drive doesn't have any screws as far as I can see unless I'm missing something is just frustrating ,and I'm trying to replace my HDD for an SSD to give it another life, any pics or suggestions on how to finally take it apart would be greatly appreciated..

One or more of these videos may work
Make sure you clone the HDD to the SSD. I assume the HDD is working ok.
have you run diagnostics?
Tap the ESC key after powering on. Tap it once a second after you see the LEDs on the keyboard flash. When you see the startup menu, press F2 to run diagnostics.
HP releases newer UEFI diagnostics periodically. When you select F2 during boot you are requesting UEFI diagnostics. There is an updated diagnostics package Click Here Look for the phrase 'issues outside the OS', Expand the '+' symbol and click the DOWNLOAD button. The version of the UEFI diagnostics is shown at the left of that DOWNLOAD button. When you press F2 to run diagnostics please ensure the version is the new one. |
le me know if a problem occurs or if you want to put in windows 11
