Pavillion 15-da0032wm
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently opened up my Pavillion 15-da0032wm laptop to fix a fan error. However, once I closed my laptop back up and reinserted my disc drive back into the proper slot, it stopped working. I can no longer eject the drive without doing it manually. It cannot load discs either. Is there something else that I need to do or did I do something wrong?

@bigstinko

We have no access to your PC and we do not have the technical information or resources to walk you through doing repairs.

IF you aren't experienced in doing this kind of work, you should not have taken your laptop apart to replace the fan.

You would need to contact an HP Repair or Service Center to have them see what is involved in repairing it.

Since you live in the U.S., here is a link to the HP Service Repair Centers:

Good Luck
