When I turn on my desktop computer, I get the message that it can't find the boot medium. In the BIOS, the disk is detected correctly, and I proceed to run the disk diagnostics.

 

When the diagnostic finishes, the following error appears:  

 

Testing Drive:1

SMART Check: PASSED

Short DST: FAILED

 

Failure ID: 9W89W2-000801-NH122J-60W503

Product ID: Y1B39AV

 

Hard disk 1

 

 

What does it mean?

If you have a mechanical drive, possibly you can use the windows scandisk to fix errors.

 

If your drive is SSD then probably replace it.
