I'm trying to activate my McAfee PC Optimizer, but was having issues with the activation key.  I contacted McAfee, and their techs spent 2 1/2 hours trying to resolve the issue.  In the end, they told me there were disk errors, and I should contact HP.

 

Please help, I can't afford $30 for a product I can't use.

The error message I get from McAfee is "Error 2".  Their techs did not elaborate on the disk error, they simply said there was one.  How do I find which error?
