Good morning,

my problem is simple: I need to change the lcd cable, in particular the part n. G34LC021 / DD0G34LC021 / HLN3AA1D6166.

I already tried to buy some cables on ebay but no one worked. Where can I find a cable with all 3 correct numbers?

I can't find even in the official HP spare parts store.

Someone can help me please?

Thanks in advance.

Below the image of the part

Thanks for the reply Huffer.

The part from UK seller through eBay Germany is not the right one unfortunately.

The code is 856346-001 / DD0G34LC011 but the right one is DD0G34LC021.

You are trying to look for the part using numbers that do not actually define the part. Those are some kind of stock or serial numbers. The only number you need is the HP Part number and this is the right one. You will likely never find one that has the same exact numbers printed on it.

Mmh actually I bought a part with the correct number 856346-001 but with DD0G34LC102.

It didn't work, so I doubt this.. Anyway if you are confident to your suggestion I can try to buy the part by the vendor on ebay Germany.

I am confident that the HP Part is right. Without having my hands on the computer I cannot confirm the diagnosis of bad display cable. Did you try an external monitor? Are the ones you bought before apparently plugging in correctly? Do you get anything on the screen?

Sorry for the late response.

Moving the screen I find the scenario in the image.

The fact is that continuing to move the display, it returns normal.

It's not a problem referred to graphics card so I think the only solution seems to change the lcd cable.

Do you agree?

Thanks

Never seen a pattern like that. Did you try the external monitor as I suggested?

HP Recommended

Yes and it works perfectly without any distortion.

Unfortunately I am very confident that the problem is the cable because had the same issue  with my last hp notebook and because only moving the display the problem happens.

Glad you are confident. Not much more I can say. You may be right.
