Pavilion - 15-cd040wm
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have bought a 120 GB PNY SSD for my HP Pavilion - 15-cd040wm notebook. I have downloaded a utility tool so I could check the firmware that my SSD is running. The tool says that AHCI is not enabled. I have used another tool that determined my read and write speed. The tool says that I am getting about 0-20 MB read and right speeds. This website tells me the average read and write speed.

The tool that determined the read and write speed was AS SSD Benchmark. When I open device manager, I clicked on IDE ATA/ATAPI Controller, and I expanded the menu and saw an item called  Standard SATA AHCI Controller. Does that mean AHCI is enabled? If not, how do I enable it? How can I fix my read and write speed?

I ran another benchmark and I got 319.19  MB read speed and 2.8 MB write speed.
