Hi,

Do I need SINGLE or DUAL rank memory for this laptop if I want to upgrade the current 8GB to 16GB?

Hi,

Both are compatible as long as it is DDR4 2400Mhz

On page 42 of service manual you can see the steps to upgrade the RAM
