I want to upgrade my laptop Ram, by default it got 16gb of ram (2x16gb 5600mhz). i want to uprgrade it to 64Gb with 2x32Gb 5600Mhz configuration, do my device support it?

at first, i just want to buy 1 32gb 5600mhz ram, so the laptop will run at 8gb + 32 gb configuration, is this gonna be a problem or not? and maybe after few month, i will upgrade it again to 32+32.

is it okay to do that? or i only could upgrade it into 8gb+16gb first, then make it 16+16 / 16+32. but if i could, i want too stay with 32+32 configuration without buying unnecessery product, Thanks for ur help and sorry for my bad english

The Crucial memory report for the model series indicates it will support 2 x 32 GB of DDR5-5600 MHz memory.

HP - Compaq HP Victus 16-s0000 | Memory RAM & SSD Upgrades | Crucial.com

Chapter 1 of the service manual indicates it will support 2 x 16 GB of DDR5-5600 MHz memory.

The manual does not show configurations of an 8 GB chip + a 16 GB chip but that is probably because you have a gaming notebook and when you install memory in mismatched capacities, the memory only runs in single channel mode, not dual channel mode like it would with 2 x 8 GB, 2 x 16 GB or 2 x 32 GB.
