Do all HP 15 notebooks take the same battery?

Hi. I need to replace the battery in my sons HP notebook 15-da0503sa as it’s on its last legs. I have a HP notebook 15-da0511sa laptop and was thinking about putting mine into his and getting a new one for mine as I use it for work. I can see on the online specs of each that the same battery is listed for both i.e. a 3cell 41Wh Li on battery,  but does that mean the size will fit? I’ve no idea about this stuff. Thanks.

Hi:

The battery in your notebook will fit in your son's notebook since it is the same model series.

Not all HP 15" notebooks would use the same battery though...just within the same model series.

Thank you. I contacted a supplier and they said this 

If your laptop models are HP 15-da0511sa and 15-da0503sa, then they are both 15-da0000 series. So the batteries of both laptops should be HT03XL.
