hi all,

 

I have two external USB 3.0 HDDs, one 1TB and another 4TB. When I connect them to one of two ports directly to laptop all is fine. But when I connect them to the docking station they just appear and vanish, and that goes in circles. Power cables for HDDs are original 50cm. it seems like maybe they dont have enough current from the dock. Mouse usb receiver works when connected to dock and all other connections on the dock work.

 

I reinstalled dock driver but no help. the message I get is "usb device not recognized" and windows plays mount/dismount sounds...That goes non-stop until I disconnect the drives.

 

I suppose that many had same problem, but couldnt search the whole forum since Im in a rush. Please direct me to the solved thread (hopefully) or help me.
