Docking Station Compability

I purchased a 90W HP docking station and I cannot find and means of linking my laptop to it. Am I missing something or is it not cmpatable? Thanks

Did you check the specifications of the docking station before purchasing it?

Is it the HP 90W Docking Station you've purchased?

Compatibility of the docking station: 

HP Docking Stations and HP Advanced Docking Stations are compatible with HP ProBook b-Series Notebook PCs, HP EliteBook 8xxx p Series Notebook PCs, and HP EliteBook 8xxx w Series Mobile Workstations.

Where did you check? No, there is no compatible docking station for current Pavilion model laptops. Docking stations are only for business models. You need to give us the model or product number of the dock and also a link to anything you found even suggesting compatibility with your laptop because I am saying there was a misunderstanding here.

My mistake, I  was thinking this was the probook and since its refurbished the model was different.
